Our promise
Everything published on Enimates follows the same rules:
- Educational, always. We teach feelings vocabulary and share what emotion science says. We never diagnose, treat, or promise health outcomes. Our books, printables, and articles are learning tools — not therapy.
- Sourced, visibly. When an article makes a claim about child development or emotion science, it cites where that claim comes from — published research, recognized frameworks (Plutchik's wheel of emotions, Yale's RULER method, the CASEL framework, Youth Mental Health First Aid guidelines), or official health bodies. If we can't source it, we say it's opinion or experience — or we don't publish it.
- Reviewed and dated. Every article shows when it was last reviewed. Child-development content is re-checked on a schedule, and our Getting Help resources are reviewed regularly because services change.
- Honest about limits. Some things are beyond what any website should try to cover. When a topic needs a professional — worries about anxiety, mood, development, safety — we say so plainly and point you to the right door instead of pretending an article is enough.
- Written for real families. Plain language. No jargon walls. US English. Every "what to say" script is something a tired parent could actually say on a Tuesday night.
How content gets made
Articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then every piece is personally reviewed, edited, and approved by Dr Hb Lo before it's published. Nothing goes live without that human review — the byline means it was read, checked, and stood behind.
Corrections
We fix mistakes, visibly. If we get something wrong — a fact, a citation, an outdated resource — we correct the page and note the correction and date at the bottom. Spotted an error? Email us at corrections@enimates.com and we'll review it.
What we never do
- No claims that any book, activity, or product treats or improves any health condition
- No testimonials about health outcomes
- No individual advice about your child — that belongs with your own doctor
- No sponsored health claims. If content is ever sponsored, it will be labeled
